Complex remedial building on a high-end home. This stunning home had multiple, significant water ingress issues in highly detailed areas of the building. This required testing, diagnosis and then creation of a comprehensive scope of works, to rectify the long list of multi-faceted issues. The building works included extensive replacement of waterproofing systems, concrete cancer treatement, Rosewood joinery, Hardwood flooring, Treatment of galvanic corrosion, installation of structural glazing to a courtyard pond floor which allows dappled light to enter the bedroom below. This complex project also included custom carpentry, cladding, extensive drainage and plumbing, roofing, waterproofing, tiling, concreting, bricklaying, rendering, steel fabrication architectural glazing, painting, landscaping and the construction of a temperature controlled wine cellar in the basement.

Bennelong Rd, Cremorne
The Golden Ratio team have recently completed the structural renovation of a 1930's block of 4x 2 bedroom units in Cremorne. The dilapidated building required complex remedial work followed by extensive renovations including bathrooms, kitchens plus the removal of internal fire stairs to allow for new internal laundries. The project also required a rear extension of the units to gain valuable floor space overlooking Willoughby Bay, a complete roof replacement and an update of all electric, plumbing and fire systems to satisfy compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Belmont Rd, Mosman
The Golden Ratio was engaged first as a consultant and then as Principal Contractor to rectify ongoing water ingress issues with a mixed use building in Mosman. It happens to be the oldest standing shop in Mosman (c1890) but had seen little maintenance and some questionable building methods throughout it's life. We had a huge task of bringing this sick building back to a safe dwelling for the inhabitants. Works included; Extensive earthworks and underpinning, Waterproofing, Drainage, Concreting, New windows, Bricklaying (Install cavity flashings), Rendering, Aluminium window and Roof replacement, Ventilation and damp repair methods. We also renovated one of the residential units above including reconfiguration of the main bathroom to add a fourth bedroom.
