Powderworks Rd, Narrabeen
The Golden Ratio team took on this architectural building project to create a new entertaining area including blackbutt decking, pergola, privacy fencing and an intergrated stereo and lighting system. The team also produced a new front room extension including Australian hardwood timber floors and new timber casement windows and french doors to match the existing building. Other works included a roof replacement, new fascias throughout and complete overhauling of the existing plumbing system. Our 'hands on' experience helped the client and architect during the design phase with certain aspects of this build to minimise costs and maximise the end result.

Denman Avenue, Glen Iris
Our Glen Iris project focused around the creation of a new multi-level Australian hardwood timber deck with a stainless steel wire balustrade. The main aim was to replace an exisitng rotten deck and create an entertaining area that connected the house with the backyard, which is much lower than the rear of the house- Something the previous deck failed to do. Included in the build was a lighting system, an under-deck rainwater tank collecting water from the roof, additional covered storage, built-in planter box and sandpit for the kids. (When the kids grow out of it, the sandpit can be switch to a planter box symetrical with the opposite side of the stairs.

Middle Head Road, Mosman
This project entailed a significant structural renovation (including additional story) of this residential property at Middle Head Road, Mosman. The project included: Φ Restoration of the heritage-like facade in keeping with the era. Φ The rear of the dwelling was modernised and opened up to allow breath taking water views into the state of the art kitchen, main living area and rear entertaining deck. Φ Abstract steel carport with electronic access. Φ Inground pool and structural landscaping. Φ Custom steel fencing. Φ Nominated for Mosman Design Awards.
